Athens and Queen’s Tower wine tour

In this tour we propose a unique getaway just a few minutes out of busy center of Athens to one of best Attica’s wineries!

We will visit Queen’s tower estate which  was born out of Queen Amalia’s vision of the establishment of a model agricultural facility, where innovative production methods were to be applied aiming to the modernization of the Greek agronomy. A vineyard was one the first plantations of the estate. The varieties that are still being planted are wine grape varieties, Greek and others originated from Europe, white and red.

Nowadays, inside the property we are able to encounter horses, chickens and beehives. The rental of the stables offers the opportunity to the horses to be accommodated and get proper physical exercise in an ideal habitat.

WINE TOUR PROGRAM

Meeting with our staff at your hotel which will take you in the areas of  Monastiraki, Psirri, Gazi  and driving the west  road  we will reach  the Queen’s Tower Estate. This tour can take place any day during the week after communication with ATTICA wine and food experience: info@awafe.gr

This experience will take you about 3 hours including a 4 glass wine tasting which is accompanied with homemade Greek pies.

The duration of the entire tour is 5 hours
